WHAT TYPE OF LICENSE WILL I NEED?
There are two primary licenses that are necessary for HGV Drivers.

C CATEGORY LICENSING
Drivers with a C, or Class 2 license are eligible to operate standard large "rigid bodied vehicles". These are the smaller types of vehicles that require special accreditation to operate. They have a basic single body style, as opposed to vehicles with a separated cab, and are generally considered to be easier to drive. Training for the C license may be accomplished in a shorter time than for the C & E license.

C & E CATEGORY LICENSING
This type of license qualifies the owner to drive Class 1 Arctic (Articulated Lorries) trucks that are larger in size. The cab is separate from the trailer, and the proper handling of these vehicles is much more complicated.

There is a vast need for Drivers with either of these licenses, so anyone who possesses them will have a variety of job opportunities available. We offer courses that will give you all the knowledge and skills you need to earn one or both of these licenses.

Individuals who wish to secure their C & E license may enroll in a course for their C license concurrently if they do not already possess it. This means you can receive both licenses in one half of the time it would take to do so from other training facilities. We understand that once you've decided to set out on your new career, you don't want to waste time, so we do everything we can to help you achieve success as quickly and efficiently as possible.
